For those of you who felt a few hairs raising when they saw the name bEEdEEgEE we’ll offer the following reassurance: despite the weird capitalization, this article has absolutely nothing to do with nu-metal. Promise.
bEEdEEgEE is actually the moniker of Brian DeGraw, a name you may have heard before in connection with Gang Gang Dance, a Manhattan experimental electronica outfit. DeGraw’s solo debut SUM/ONE is due out December 3. Check out “Flowers” a new track from the album below.
There’s another name here that some might recognize. Lovefoxxx is indeed the featured vocalist on the track. Known as the frontwoman of Brazilian rock band Cansei de Ser Sexy (CSS), she also put in an appearance on Kavinsky’s “Nightcall” – you know, that one song from Drive that rattled around your skull for a week after you saw the movie.
