Metronomy Tease New Song “I’m Aquarius”

Electronic band Metronomy are teasing fans with their first new material since 2011, a clip of a track called “I’m Aquarius.”

The band tweeted earlier today, leading followers to their website, where they can hear a three-second cut of the song loop repeatedly.

Metronomy’s upcoming album, set to drop in 2014, will be the first since The English Riviera was released three years earlier. The band’s first album, Pip Paine (Pay the £5000 You Owe), came out in 2006, the second, Nights Out, in 2008, and the third is the aforementioned The English Riviera of 2011, so it’s clear that they put a lot of time and effort into each release. Frontman Joe Mount told NME that the new album is inspired by The Zombies, Sly and the Family Stone and the birth of Mount’s first child.
