Singer-songwriter Colin Meloy mixing some Kinks material into the sets of his solo acoustic tour this Fall.
Known as the frontman/guitarist for the Decemberists, Meloy has a habit of sprinkling his sets with covers, generally picked from a particular artist’s catalog, the recordings of which make up his Colin Meloy Sings EP series. Previous artists chosen for these recordings have included Morrissey (2005), Shirley Collins (2006), and Sam Cooke(2008). His newest EP, Colin Meloy Sings The Kinks, will be available for purchase only at his live shows this fall.
