The exceedingly hybrid Dengue Fever (Cambodian rock, surf, indie and psychedelia, amongst others) has announced the upcoming release of their new EP Girl From The North.
This 3-song EP, due December 3rd, is to be the first release of new music by the group in over 2 years. In anticipation of the new material, Dengue Fever will also be releasing a digital reissue of the 2008 effort Venus on Earth which will include additional tracks. Though there has been a lull in recorded material from the LA-based band, they have remained busy with international touring, setting up their own label (Tuk Tuk Records) and preparing for a Summer 2014 full-length release. Listeners unfamiliar with the group, or even the many genres that they straddle, are heartily encouraged to give them a try.
