Former Dresden Doll and feminist icon Amanda Palmer played an on the spot rendition of Rihanna’s “Umbrella” while overseas in Tel Aviv recently.
Palmer, the undisputed queen of Kickstarter, has arguably some of the most loyal and dedicated fans on the planet. It’s no surprise that she chooses to express her gratitude and return the love in any way she can. One way that she does this is through her impromptu “ninja gigs” where she will give a free, unannounced performance for anyone interested in hearing her sing and play.
