Funk legend Nile Rodgers and producer Giorgio Moroder will be working together on some new tunes, according to Rodgers.
@CarlyWilford I'm thankful for the music I've been able to have in my life. Giorgio Moroder's next door & agreed to write something w me!

Both Rodgers and Moroder were featured collaborators on Daft Punk’s latest album, Random Access Memories, which dropped in May.
Rodgers worked on the first single and biggest hit of the album, “Get Lucky,” which also featured Pharrell Williams, as well as appearing on two other tracks on the album. He has since mentioned teaming up with the electronic duo again, on project he has been working on with Chic. In fact, Chic featuring Rodgers replaced D’Angelo at the 2013 Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco when D’Angelo couldn’t appear.
Moroder took center stage with his Random Access Memories track, “Giorgio by Moroder.” In between the Daft Punk record and the planned collaboration with Rodgers, Moroder participated in public art project and tour, Station to Station. He worked alongside artists such as Beck and Ariel Pink on the tour.
