Morrissey Says in a Statement “Unfortunately, I Am Not Homosexual” Claims He is “Humasexual”

After releasing his autobiography, Morrissey responds to rumors surrounding his sexuality, “Unfortunately, I am not homosexual.”

On True To You, he continues his statement with the vague, all-inclusive “In technical fact, I am humasexual. I am attracted to humans. But, of course … not many.” The rumors were sparked after Autobiography was released, in which he outlines close intimate relationship he had with photographer Jake Walters. It is never specified in the book whether or not it was of a sexual nature, but many have believe that it was. He is definitely a gay ally, as he made this statement to Rookie earlier this year.

“If more men were homosexual, there would be no wars because homosexual men would never kill other men. Wars and armies and nuclear weapons are essentially heterosexual hobbies.”
