Watch: Arctic Monkeys Perform “Do I Wanna Know?” and “R U Mine?” on Jimmy Kimmel

The Arctic Monkeys got their stage a little later than expected, but still made the most of it. The indie superstars pumped out a stellar performance on “Kimmel”, click through to watch “Do I Wanna Know?” and “R U Mine?”, two singles off of AM.

The Monkeys can at least take comfort in knowing that they’re far from the first performance disrupted by Kanye West. Although they were originally slated to play several days before, an extended interview between Kimmel and West scuppered the appearance. Not without reason, as West and Kimmel spent the time laboriously burying one heck of an awkward hatchet – the two had recently engaged in a social media spat after Kimmel spoofed West on his show.

But some things get all the sweeter after a wait. The Monkeys were in excellent form, and “Do I Wanna Know?” sounded as good as it ever has. Add a tricked out stage and a predictably excited crowd…well, check below and see. The performance finds the Monkeys building on a banner year. AM came out a couple months ago to universal acclaim.
