Alternative rock band AFI premiered the streaming of a new song, “No Resurrection,” today on Soundcloud.

AFI has not released an album in over four years, but their latest, Burials, is out October 22. It was originally announced for a September release, but the later date has not stopped them from sharing new music anyway. Back in July, they released the stream of a single titled “I Hope You Suffer,” which gave fans a sneak peek at what’s in store for the band’s ninth studio album.

Vocalist Davey Havok told Rolling Stone, “During the writing sessions, there was a lot of chaos in my life.”

About the new single, Havok said, “It was a real struggle. We revisited the chorus several times; we could not abandon it. We felt the haunting song was important.” You can listen to “No Resurrection” on Soundcloud below:
