Brian DeGraw ventures beyond his long-time band, Gang Gang Dance, and goes solo with his new album SUM/ONE.
Known for his work in avant-garde rock/electronic band Gang Gang Dance, Brian DeGraw (a.k.a. bEEdEEgEE) is stretching out a bit with his first solo album SUM/ONE. Still present on this album is his aversion to conventional song structures but mixed with some supremely pop melodies and synth lines. Contributing vocalists on the record include: Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip), Lovefoxxx (CSS), Lizzi Bougatsos (Gang Gang Dance) and Douglas Armour.
bEEdEEgEE will be touring this winter, supporting Animal Collective on most of the dates. SUM/ONE will be released on December 3rd.
