LISTEN: Kraak & Smaak Release Stream of New Track “Love Inflation”

So it turns out Kraak and Smaak are not, the artist’s names. Sort of disappointing, we were really hoping for the Dutch answer to Snap, Crackle, and Pop. On the other hand, we may have something even better. Oscar de Jong, Mark Kneppers and Wim Plug are Kraak & Smaak, and they’ve just dropped “Love Inflation”, a seriously chilly new dance track.

Prediction: this is going to be playing at literally every club on earth in a month or two. “Love Inflation” is hypnotic, danceable, and completely infectious – thanks in no small part to some excellent vocals from Dutch singer Janne Schra. The track is the third from Chrome Waves, the trio’s upcoming album, due out on October 28th.

Chromic Waves is already catching some attention. Small wonder, Kraak & Smaak’s music has earned them spots at Glastonbury, Coachella, and even the Jimmy Kimmel Show. A little extra factoid – the cover art for the new album comes courtesy of Jacob Escobedo, who has also done work for The Shins, Vampire Weekend, and Broken Bells. Check the new track out below.
