American alternative rock band, Pixies, who recently this year replaced founder and bassist Kim Deal with another Kim, and released their first single in nine years followed by an EP, has just announced tour dates for winter 2014.

Pixies have certainly had a busy year. After the announcement of Kim Deal’s departure, as per her request, the band erased her parts on “EP-1” and replaced them with the help of PJ Harvey bassist Simon “Ding” Archer. Since then they released single “Bagboy” and performed it on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon along with “Indie Cindy.” Former Muff’s bassist and vocalist Kim Shattuck joined the band to complete their fall 2013 tour to promote the EP.
Now, they are staying busy by jumping in to another tour starting in January.
