Rock guitarist Ginger Wildheart has gathered together a collection of musicians almost as colorful as his name. Featuring Mark E. Smith (The Fall), Shane Embury (Napalm Death), Merzbow, Jon Poole (The Cardiacs), Denzel (Young Legionnaire), Simon Wright (Canaya) and both Rob and Paul from Hawkeyes, the post punk band fittingly goes by the name Mutation, and they’ve got new music available for our ears.
Britain native Wildheart is currently working as Courtney Love’s guitar player, and has also released six albums of his own in the past two years. On top of that, the guitarist has led the way for bands seeking crowdfunding for their projects, as he’s successfully financed multiple releases through Pledgemusic these past few years.
Working with the rest of Mutation is somewhat of a new endeavor for Wildheart, and by the sounds of the following, it seems to fit him well.
