WATCH: Colin Greenwood of Radiohead Performs Bass Solo at French Art Show

While bandmate Thom Yorke is busy parading with Atoms for Peace, Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood makes ends meet performing solo at the high-profile Dries Van Noten runway show during Paris Fashion Week.

It was a somewhat surreal display. Scores of models lined up along the back wall of a giant industrial warehouse, sentinels facing off against a crowded row of bleachers. In the center, illuminated by a single spotlight, Greenwood bobbed with his bass, spitting a skeletal soundtrack while models slinked past. A Style.com writeup detailed:

Inspired by his favorite piece from the collection, which featured a cunning use of the barbed wire embroidery, he adapted the bass line from the Radiohead song “My Iron Lung.”
