Progressive doom-metal band The Melvins have recently reformed with their original lineup and are releasing new album. It has been 30 years since the band had this lineup of musicians, and they’ve already released a brand new song!
The surprising reconnection of drummer Mike Dillard with The Melvins is making this album possible. It is called Tres Cabrones and is due to be released November 5. The band recently finished their 30th Anniversary Tour, which was full of eventful happenings. Frontman Buzz Osborne got hit with cup by Shearing Pinx drummer Jeremy Van Wyck in Vancouver, and the band covered “Graveyard” by Butthole Surfers while giving away free ice cream to kids in Chicago.
