In an unlikely turn of events, journalist and CNN anchor Anderson Cooper dissected Man Man’s “End Boss” on a recent installment of Cooper Anderson 360. Get the scoop, inside.
That’s right, a recent episode of CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 – a show typically devoted to delivering the news – featured the man himself uttering, “Tonight I want to introduce you to the stylings of a band called Man Man.” After getting wind that Man Man’s “End Boss”, a somewhat ominous track from their most recent record, On Oni Pond, was actually about his CNN colleague Wolf Blitzer, Cooper decided to explore the track’s derivation on the “RidicuList” segment of Anderson Cooper 360.
In the segment, Cooper not only dissects the song’s lyrics – which paint Blitzer as a wolf who guzzles vodka and eats babies – but also conducts an interview with Man Man’s frontman, Ryan Kattner (Honus Honus), taking note of Kattner’s incredibly chic Wolf Blitzer tunic and plugging the band’s upcoming tour.
