Del the Funky Homosapien, DJ Kid Koala and producer Dan the Automator have returned as collective Deltron 3030, and this time Rage Against the Machine’s Zack de la Rocha has joined them.

The new track “Melding of the Minds” will appear on the next Deltron 3030 album, Event II, which drops on October 1. It’s the band’s first record since their self-titled debut in 2000 according to Pitchfork. The album will also feature the talents of the Lonely Island, David Cross, Damon Albarn and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. You can listen to “Melding of the Minds” on Soundcloud.
The band recently released music video for another track appearing on Event II, entitled “City Rising From the Ashes,” which features Mike Patton. Deltron 3030 is also on a U.S. tour this fall , with one stop in Canada, and joined by the 3030 Orchestra.
