Deer Tick celebrated the 20th anniversary of Nirvana’s popular album In Utero. The band performed the entire album at the Brooklyn Bowl “just for fun” frontman John McCauley claims.
The experience of this performance was outlined by an epic pillow fight leaving traces of feathers all throughout the venue. Deer Tick performing as Deervana appeared wearing flannel and ripped jeans.
The well attended concert boasts live performances of songs including “Serve the Servants” and “All Apologies.” NYC Taper was able to capture this magical moment which is available to download and view the entire here.

Deer Tick have an upcoming album entitled Negativity which is scheduled to be released September 24th via Partisan. This will be the band’s fifth studio album. Their recently released single “Trash” which is from the upcoming album Negativity is
“about a few things: mainly, a breakup and the monotony of going on tour. Character in the song (me) is a dumb smart-ass.”
