WATCH: The Internet Release New Video for Single “Dontcha”

These days it appears that Odd Future and the Neptunes just can’t get enough of each other. Neptunes producer Chad Hugo lends his signature beats to “Dontcha,” the latest single off of trip-hop youngsters The Internet’s upcoming album Feel Good.

The stable bass bump of “Dontcha” contrasts with its more liberal sister single “Partners In Crime Part Two,” breakbeat reflection on Purple Naked Ladies‘ “Fastlane.” While Syd Tha Kyd blithely riffs over her neo-soul band’s moody accompaniment, Hugo’s influence reveals itself. As Spin points out, the groove closely resembles Justin Timberlake’s “Rock Your Body,” “a song that was of course produced by the Neptunes.”

Ten days remain before the September 24 release of Fast Lane, which notably also includes a cameo by rapper and longtime Odd Future ally Mac Miller. Following the release, Miller and Odd Future turn their attention to the second annual Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, which comes to Los Angeles early this November.
