Indie rockers Local Natives continued their massive Summer/Fall tour with an appearance on Conan this Tuesday. Check below for video featuring a live performance of their song “Ceilings”. And a few seconds of Conan’s mug, always a plus.
It’s honestly amazing that these guys are still on their feet and playing. Check the tour dates for their current campaign, and you’ll see what we mean. The Natives cover ground from Australia to America, hitting just about everywhere in between as they do.
Tuesday night’s performance found them in fine form – their live version of “Ceilings” off of sophomore album Hummingbird was heartfelt, melodic, and frankly just flat out pretty. No real surprise though, the band’s been on an absolute tear of late. Hummingbird won extensive critical acclaim and, what’s more, a peak position of 12 on the Billboard Top 200.
