The Devil Makes Three Announce New LP I’m A Stranger Here Set for October 2013 Release

Talented trio The Devil Makes Three has announced their fourth full-length album release entitled I’m a Stranger Here.

The much anticipated album is scheduled to be released October 29th via New West Records. Written in Music City aka Nashville, TN at Dan Auberbach’s from The Black Keys studio Easy Eye Sound, this record is destined for good things. The 10-track compilation was also produced by none other than Americana legend Buddy Miller.

Pete Bernhard, frontman for The Devil Makes Three, describes the work calling it a “very dark record thematically, lyrically and sonically.”

The talented group consists of Bernhard (singer/guitarist), Cooper McBean (guitarist/banjoist) and Lucia Turino (bassist). Together, the trio put together a unique sound boasting strings, percussion, electric guitar, fiddle and so much more.

For those fans who simply cannot wait, the group has released a preview of their upcoming album debuting the first single entitled “Stranger” which can be heard exclusively on the Rolling Stone website.

The upcoming record was mostly inspired from the band’s recent travels and journey since they left their hometown of Brattleboro, VT.

Bernhard describes his passion stating:

“I can’t wait to get onstage, I love it. Playing music for a living is a blessing and a curse, but for us there’s no other option.”
