WATCH: Passion Pit Perform Hour-Long Set on Letterman

Yesterday, Passion Pit joined the ranks of Franz Ferdinand, Queens of the Stone Age, Phoenix and many more, by taking part in the Live on Letterman webcast series. And now it’s available to stream at home!

Passion Pit is likely still mending their wounds after a Chicago thunderstorm destroyed about 75 percent of their gear last weekend, prior to their scheduled set at the North Coast Music Festival. Being the troopers they are, however, the band went on to perform more of a DJ set for the crowd, as to not let the fans down without a show.

They went on to perform similar sets at their planned gigs that weekend in Canada, and then traipsed into New York City for the Letterman webcast. By the looks of their Ed Sullivan Theater showing, however, it seems they’ve recuperated nicely from the unexpected equipment demolition.
