In their third to last installment of this year’s Adult Swim Singles releases, the cable network has elected to unleash Pig Destroyer’s new track “The Octagonal Stairway” to the masses.
Adult Swim fired the program back up earlier this summer, using “36″Chain” by Run The Jewels (AKA Killer Mike and El-P) to get things started. Dan Deacon’s “Why Am I On This Cloud?” also made its debut on the program, and the team of Captain Murphy (aka Flying Lotus), Earl Sweatshirt, Viktor Vaughn (aka DOOM) and Thundercat followed suit with their track “Between Villains”.
Pig Destroyer was an ample addition to the Singles releases, as they’ve been lighting up such festivals this summer as the infamous GWAR-B-Q, and will be wreaking havoc next week at the BasilicaSoundScape Festival, alongside acts like DIIV and Cass McCombs, in Hudson, NY.
