Kan Wakan is an emerging Silverlake-based group formed in early 2012 by composer and multi-instrumentalist Gueorgui Linev who teamed up with guitarist Peter Potyondy and singer Kristianne Bautista.The project began as an effort to fuse classical and soul within a more accessible sound. Kan Wakan is currently in the mixing stages of it’s debut record, which is expected to see a release in the fall.
