Indie rock outfit Goldfrapp has released the latest short film for the track “Annabel” off of Tales of Us, which is due out September 10.
The English duo, Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory, have been working on the album for two years, and each track is the narrative of the title character. Previously, Goldfrapp released a short film for the song “Drew,” which is expresses the nostalgia around former lovers. “Annabel” shows an androgynous young boy exploring the outdoors and some treasures he finds there. Goldfrapp will make an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for the first time on September 9, to debut Tales of Us on the eve of its release.
