Are ya listenin’? Good, because we’ve got a Sleigh Bells release right around the corner. That’s right, December 25th is a few months away, but there’s still some early holiday cheer here.
Well, that is, if you find noise punk to be in line with the Christmas spirit. We do.
Sleigh Bells songs tend to be muscular, distorted, and menacing. Some readers might recognize the song “Infinity Guitars” from recent Kick Ass 2 trailer and yeah – it’s a good choice of soundtrack. On the other hand, there are reports that the upcoming album might be on the sunnier side of things, though goodness only knows what singer Alexis Krauss means by “traditional”.
You won’t have to wait for long for more details on the upcoming album. They’re coming on September 3rd, along with a stream of the lead single and its accompanying music video. Stay tuned folks, Sleigh Bells are about to ring.
