Brainchild of Trent Reznor, Nine Inch Nails has released yet another song off of the upcoming album, Hesitation Marks. Entitled “The Eater of Dreams,” the song is just shy of a minute and should be listened to in full daylight.
“The Eater of Dreams” is one more of a number of tracks that NIN has already released throughout the past few months. Having just reentered the scene, NIN is taking it anything but slow, with performances at Fuji Rock and Outside Lands Festival, as well as the band’s recent releases. This newest track is the opening song of the album, and will haunt your dreams. With simplistic yet rich feel, Reznor includes radar-like beeps and static to create a foreboding atmosphere. It makes for an appropriate opening to the album that Reznor hopes will attract a “more sophisticated” fanbase. Check out “The Eater of Dreams” below.
