Metallica has just announced their performance on September 21st at The Apollo theater in New York. This performance will be followed by the debut of their film Metallica Through the Never. The 3D film will make its debut nationwide on IMAX screens September 27th.
Metallica fans have had a series of incredible surprises this year. The first surprise being the announcement of material for a new album, a surprise performance of the entire Kill ‘Em All album at Orion Music + More Festival, the revival of SiriusXM’s “Mandatory Metallica” channel, and the release of their 3D film Metallica Through the Never. Now, fans can add a September 21st performance at Harlem’s famous Apollo Theater. The entire concert will be streamed live on Metallica’s SiriusXM channel, which will run through Summer 2014.
