Black Moth—not to be confused with the similarly named Black Moth Super Rainbow—have premiered the first track from their debut album, The Killing Jar. It will be released in the US this fall and North American tour dates are in the works for early 2014.
UK riot-grrrl Harriet Bevan is the frontwoman of five-piece Black Moth, which has already been compared to Black Sabbath and Queens of the Stone Age, and received rave reviews.
Seemingly influenced by everything from stoner metal to punk, blues to classic rock, Black Moth’s debut album, The Killing Jar is authentic and deeply unique. The band is made up of vocalist Harriet Bevan, guitarists Jim Swainston and Nico Carew, bassist Dave Vachon, and drummer Dom McCready.
