Since leaving Baroness after their tragic bus crash, drummer Allen Blickle has been working on an experimental project, Alpaca, with Justin Nuckols. “FNYC” is their first streamed release.
After having to cancel the remainder of their last tour due to their tour bus accident, Baroness were abandoned by two of their members, one of which was Allen Blickle. Blickle had been working with ex-step brother Justin Nuckols on an experimental group, and the injuries and hospitalization, though tragic, created an opportunity for them to become more serious about the project, known as “Alpaca.” The song, entitled “FNYC,” is off their first LP Demimonde, which is set to be release October 1st and has been five years in the making.
