Camera Obscura’s “Break It To You Gently” is now fashioned with its very own music video which messes with our capacity for human empathy. The application of Joseph Mann’s high class stop-motion technique brings to life an anthropomorphic shopping trolley with wanderlust. It’s hard not to feel for the little guy.
Camera Obscura soaked up the critical acclaim with their early summer release of Desire Lines, the leisure-pop LP followup to 2009’s My Maudlin Career and fifth full-length installment from the Scottish five-piece.
