The ‘action comic’ punk rock band, Peelander Z has announced details for their upcoming album Metalander-Z. The album is set to release September 10th via Chicken Ranch Records.
In the past, Peelander-Z have made an impression as an action comic punk rock group, but in their new album Metalander-Z, the band turns metal. Inspired by 80’s hair-metal groups like AC/DC, Cinderella, Def Leppard and more, the album is a solid transition for Peelander-Z. This is the band’s eighth studio album together, and features the “punch” of 80’s metal sound engineering, even using vintage instruments and equipment to get the Metalander-Z sound. Their newly released single “Ride On a Shooting Star” gives fans a chance to enjoy a taste from the September 10th album. Fans can see Peelander-Z at any of their upcoming US tour dates this Fall.
