Yuck is soldiering on. The British indie band may be down Daniel Blumberg, their former frontman, but it hasn’t stopped them from confirming an October release and putting out a new single. Listen to “Middle Sea” below.
Daniel Blumberg’s departure, announced in April doubtless hit the band hard, but new lead singer Max Bloom seems to have successfully taken the reins, and Glow and Behold is locked, loaded, and ready to go. First single “Middle Sea” is a sunny, guitar-driven trip, vaguely reminiscent of Sparklehorse at their most poppy. Check the video out below.
Meanwhile, Blumberg’s been busy as well. His new project, Hebronix gathered no moss, and released its debut effort, Unreal in July.
