LISTEN: TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe’s Higgins Waterproof Black Magic Band Release Stream of New Song “The Blast, the Bloom”

Tunde Adebimpe, best known as the frontman for TV on the Radio, has released a song with his other group, Higgins Waterproof Black Magic Band.

“The Blast, The Bloom” is the first track released from the band’s self-titled EP, which will be out October 1 via ZNA Records. Higgins Waterproof Black Magic Band will also be playing at Brooklyn’s Union Pool on Sunday nights in October. You can listen to “The Blast, The Bloom” on Soundcloud.

Just because Adebimpe is working with a new band doesn’t mean that TV on the Radio fans should worry – the group just released its own new single, “Mercy.”
