The last couple of times Black Rebel Motorcycle Club came to Florida was as the opening act of Stone Temple Pilots. It’s been ages since the trio came to perform a whole set. So, it’s exciting that they’re coming to Grand Central the 8th of October. The best thing about B.R.M.C. live is the variety and length of the show. They play a little bit of every album, big loud rock songs, gentle acoustic numbers, and some rarities here and there.
The opening band is Restavrant. They’re a mix of country, garage and punk rock. What’s cool about this duo is that their guitar player goes crazy with the slide guitar, and the drummer plays a kit made of junk. Sounds a bit gimmicky, but they’re not. On the contrary, this a criminally underrated band.
