Slayer to Play Shows at The Hollywood Palladium and The Theater at Madison Square Garden for First Time in 25 Years

Slayer is scheduled to play shows in two venues they haven’t played in for over 25 years. They will play at the Hollywood Palladium October 28th and The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York on November 27th.

Slayer will perform alongside Gojira and 4ARM. This will be the musicians’ first time playing in New York since their performance at Yankee Stadium in 2011. In addition, Slayer’s last appearance in Hollywood was at the Jaegermeister Music Tour in 2010.

Having recently toured throughout Europe, India, South America, Japan, Australia, and the 2012 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Tour of North America, Slayer is on a roll with concerts lined up at this years Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas.

Tom Araya on bass and vocals, guitarist Kerry King, drummer Paul Bostaph, and guitarist Gary Holt (replacement for Jeff Hanneman) the Slayer musicians have been hard at work. Araya and King have begun to work on new material and hope to dedicate some time in the studio before their next live ventures.
