While Elephant Stone prepare for the Eastern U.S. leg of their summer tour next week, Conan O’Brien’s Team Coco are premiering the third video, “Love The Sinner, Hate The Sin”, from their self-titled sophomore record.
Fresh off the path of their North American tour with both The Zombies and The Black Angels, Canadian indie rock band Elephant Stone is attracting a good deal of buzz due to their powerful self-titled sophomore record. The album was released earlier this year via Hidden Pony and The Reverberation Appreciation Society, and has received praise from the likes of NPR – who complimented the group’s choice of instrumentation stating, “Many attempts to incorporate traditional Eastern instruments into Western pop or rock music sound sloppy and cobbled-together, or even teeter on the edge of cultural tourism. Elephant Stone avoids this by cleverly employing the sitar as a textural sound rather than a more prominent melodic one.” To gear up for the next stretch of their U.S. tour, Elephant Stone are premiering the album’s third track, “Love The Sinner, Hate The Sin”, with Conan O’Brien’s Team Coco.
