“A thousand years and a thousand deaths have passed since we last visited the States, so prepare yourself to face something very, very old and very, very hungry.” Cue gasps of horror. Dog-piling on the hype for the quickly-approaching August release of The Wild Hunt, Swedish black metal band WATAIN announce dates for their 2013 North American tour.
The Dissection-kin Swedish screamers have released two singles from The Wild Hunt, the video-single “All That May Bleed,” described by Stereogum as “searing, blood-raising Scandinavian black metal,” and more recently the track “The Child Must Die.” Kicking off at Irving Plaza in New York October 8th, the month-long WATAIN tour will touch down in select destinations across the United States and Canada before a final show in Baltimore on November 2nd.
