It seems that the Avett Borthers are gearing up to release a brand new single entitled “Morning Song”. Although there is not yet any news as to when the song will officially be recoded, or if their is a new album on the horizon, the Quartet has now performed the new single on two separate occasions: first at North Carolina’s Merlefest in early July, and most recently at Newport Folk Festival this past weekend. The Brothers also very recently announced that they will be setting off on tour in early September, so perhaps we will see the single’s more official release as we move closer to the tour’s start date.
