LISTEN: FIDLAR Release Stream of New Single “Awkward”

Los Angeles-based FIDLAR has released a stream of the new single “Awkward.”

After the release of their NSFW “Cocaine” video starring Ron Swanson himself, actor Nick Offerman, FIDLAR is back with a new single, which is streaming on SoundCloud.

“Awkward” will be available for purchase on a tour-only, split 7″ with Chicago’s The Orwells, with whom FIDLAR is touring this fall in the U.S. and Canada. Two of the stops on FIDLAR’s tour include the Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle and the Austin City Limits Festival.

The rock band has been around since 2009 and has found success, including a European tour and getting to perform with acts like Japanther and The Hives. FIDLAR, which stands for “Fuck It Dog, Life’s A Risk,” is a group which lives up to its name: according to NME, “This doped-up, hard-partying Los Angeles four-piece are set to be the most exciting punk band of 2013.”
