Alexis Georgopoulos, also known by the stage name Arp, has released a stream of “High-Heeled Clouds,” the first single off of his upcoming album, MORE.
For fans of Georgopoulos’s previous work, MORE might seem strange at first, but it proves that he is ever-changing as an artist and always ready to offer new material. According to The FADER, the album is full of “painstakingly produced, walking-paced pop songs” reminiscent of late 1960s English prog-rock.
The album, which will drop September 17, was the first one Georgopoulos has written, as he usually creates synth-centric music. MORE is also the first album that he made in New York City, which has an effect on its sound. “High-Heeled Clouds” is the opening track and is representative of the album’s sound, mixing bedroom art-pop with avant-garde composition.
