Deathfix have announced their tour dates for this coming fall. The band, which consists of members of Fugazi, Blowoff, and Medications, will tour with San Diego’s Pinback.
The band is promoting their recent self-titled debut album, which came out in February prior to Deathfix’s appearance at Coachella.
Brendan Canty, formerly of Fugazi, and Rich Morel, became friends while touring together as a part of Bob Mould’s band. This, along with nostalgia for the ’70’s era, led to their decision to create new music together in the glam and progressive rock style. The band’s humble beginnings took full form in the past few years, when they brought in multi-instrumentalists to hold down the rhythm section and allow them to set out on tour. Devin Ocampo and Mark Cisneros are the other members of the group.
