Fiona Apple has just released a new video for her song “Hot Knife” which was featured on her Grammy Nominated album The Idler Wheel… The video is directed by legendary filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson (There Will Be Blood, The Master, Boogie Nights) and also features an appearance from Maude Maggart. Maggart also contributed vocals to the Fiona Apple track.

“Hot Knife” was named one of the “50 Best Songs of 2012” by Rolling Stone Magazine and is carried by the overwhelming support for The Idler Wheel… Now in Apple’s 2013 video release fans have the chance to experience the acclaimed track in a whole new light. The video features a captivating and raw Fiona Apple, with a simple background showcasing the emotional performance of “Hot Knife.” With artistic composition, visually stimulating black and white to color transitions, the new video adds flair to the widely received track.
