The Naked and Famous, a five-piece group hailing from New Zealand, are putting out a new album on September 17 and have released a single from the album.
The lead single from the In Rolling Waves is entitled “Hearts Like Ours” and can be streamed on Soundcloud. BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe has already called the track “The Hottest Record in the World Today.”
The band’s first album, Passive Me, Aggressive You, was critically acclaimed, as was its lead single, “Young Blood.” They toured for about two years, then decided to stop to make a second album, the upcoming In Rolling Waves. Two of the tracks were co-produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen, who as worked with artists like M83, Beck and Nine Inch Nails.
