Empire of the Sun has announced the launch of an all-inclusive North American tour to counter the many music festivals they have performed at.
In order to reach out to their fans in a more familiar attitude, the Australian mucisians have decided to go on tour beginning September in Washington DC.
Tickets for the North American journey will be available to the general public on Thursday, July 25th. Performances will include shows at the Hudson River Park in New York City, the House of Blues in Boston, as well as performances at the Breakaway Music Festival in Ohio and Texas.
The tour is in celebration of their most recent album Ice on the Dune via Astralwerks. Their first single “Alive” is currently at No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance/Club Play Songs chart and has received over five million views.
With appearances set for both Life is Beautiful and Breakaway Festivals, Empire of the Sun is sure to hit the ground running with their usual laser and fog encrusted performances. This psychedelic group is sure to know your socks off.
