North American tour dates have been announced by Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage for Fall 2013. The tour will start in Toronto this October and will also include performances by bands Testament and Huntress. The announcement follows the April 2013 release of the 6th studio album from Killswitch Engage, Disarm the Descent. This will conclude Lamb of God’s North American Resolution tour dates.

The Fall 2013 tour date announcement from thrash legends, Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage, comes on the heels of a highly publicized murder trial and studio album release. With all the publicity surrounding Lamb of God’s frontman, Randy Blythe earlier this year, both bands are gearing up to hit the road and finally tour together. In March 2013, Blythe was acquitted of all charges in the murder of fan who sustained head injuries at a Lamb of God concert in Prague May of 2010. After the trial Lamb of God announced Summer 2013 tour dates in support of their seventh studio album, Resolution. In May Blythe issued massive statement addressing the proper safety precautions for fans attending their upcoming shows. He is currently writing a personal memoir scheduled to release in Spring 2014 via Da Capo Press. Following the statement, news of the band’s financial troubles due to the trial expenses also surfaced. With Summer and Fall tour dates on the horizon, the band remained positive, eager and excited to support their album as well as perform with Killswitch Engage.
Killswitch Engage released their sixth studio album Disarm the Descent in April of this year. It debuted at No. 7 on Billboard Top 200 and No. 1 on Hard Rock Chart. Also joining the two bands on their North American Fall tour will be metal legends, Testament and Huntress. View the tour dates below.
