Alternative rock outfit Mazzy Star has recently announced the September release of their fourth studio album, Seasons of Your Day.
The new album drops September 24 of this year, and it includes the new single “California.” All of the original members of the band worked on Seasons of Your Day, and special guests on the album include Colm O’Ciosoig, of My Bloody Valentine, and the late Burt Jansch, who performed a guitar duet with band member David Roback on the track “Spoons.”
Seasons of Your Day will be available for purchase as a CD, digital download and 180g vinyl double LP. Mazzy Star plans to release a video for “California” next month, but for right now you can listen to the track on YouTube:
