Afropunk Fest Announces 9th Annual Lineup Featuring Chuck D, Death, and ?uestlove

The Afropunk Festival in Brooklyn is back for its 9th year with an impressive lineup of over 20 artists, including Chuck D and ?eustlove.

The festival will be held at Commodore Barry Park on Saturday, August 24, and Sunday, August 25. It’s free with an RSVP and will have lots of New York City’s best food trucks, in addition to a skate park and a custom bike show hosted by Brooklyn Rhapsody. The event has been described by The New York Times as “the most multicultural festival in the U.S.”

UPDATE (8/7): More acts have been added to the festival, including Living Colour, Wicked Wisdom, White Mandingo and Pyyramids.
