Scottish indie rockers Franz Ferdinand revealed their new video for “Right Action,” the latest single off of their upcoming album Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action. Graphically focused, the video fits the band’s iconic sound and promises for a solid album.
After working with Joe Goddard and Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip to produce “Right Action,” Franz Ferdinand released a visually appealing video for the single. To create the interesting graphics, the band paired up with director Jonas Odell to replicate graphic style of a series of books on Psychology, Sociology and Anthropology published by Pelikan in the late 50s through to the early 80s. The clean, bold visuals mesh with the confident attitude of “Right Action.” The album release, set for August 27th, will be followed by a brief, month-long tour in October.
