It’s finally here! One woman wonder Nina Kraviz has released an intriguing music video for her new single “Fire” from her upcoming debut album.
Featuring works from New York photographer Yulya Skya, the video was filmed in the setting of the Mohave Desert, Death Valley. This is the perfect environment to reciprocate the entrancing and eery harmonies that make this song a work of art.
Skya explains her vision for the “Fire” music video.
“There exists a unique relationship, one between a finite being and the infinite. The project explores this in the Mojave desert, with Mars in mind”.
“Fire” features all Nina Kraviz original vocals which sing to a desolate melody that can be calming and surprisingly arousing. Kraviz is as beautiful as she is talented.
What really pulls people to this track is the bare bones of the music. Kraviz’s light and breathy vocals come in clear against an emotionally raw backround.
Kraviz’s breakthrough came with many releases through Underground Quality before she became an important member of the Rekids family. She has released several EP’s through the label as well as her aforementioned self-titled debut album.
